Seagulls

One day on the wharf Matthew, Sarah and Rauru were fishing for some food. First they caught some slimy and unsatisfying seaweed. Then they came across some salty weeds which were very sour. They all gave up, they never knew that hunting for their own food was really that hard. But as the the morning mist flew past, right upon their eyes was a tiny little dead tuna floating above the clear blue water. “It’s mine” yelled Matthew. “No its mine” screamed Rauru. Sarah was silent like the night, she didn’t say a word. 1 hour later they were still fighting and then. . .  “GIVE ME THE TUNA” she yelled. The boys were frightened by her voice so they dropped the tuna and took a step back. “Now we’re gonna share it okay”yelled Sarah. “Okay” they sobbed. Sarah divided it into thirds and gave them one piece each. “Mmmm” that was delish Matthew said smiling for more. Lets go home now.

Yacht Sailing

It was a steaming hot day in Auckland city. The sky was clear blue without

a doubt. That day a Glen Innes family couldn't wait to escape from their home and have some fun going to the yacht sailing club in Britomart Auckland . It was free, you could go there anytime.

So they packed their bags and slapped on some sunscreen,  they were slippery like soap. So they drove down to the beach. The beach was packed with people from different parts of Auckland. So they grabbed each others gears and left them inside the club. “I guess they are here to go sailing too”whispered Jack. “Some of them are” said Renee. So they ran inside then grabbed a life jacket each and speeded out with a yacht sailing boat. They already knew how to sail, so they took off as fast as lightning. They headed out to sea. But when they first jumped into the water Jack was gone. No one knew where he was, it was a mystery. They checked every where but he was out of  sight.

But then they spotted a boat far out to sea when they noticed it was Jack! So they hoped in the boat and pulled him in. Everyone was happy and filled with joy, so on they all went home.
